the garage gym
Ok, Ive decided to bite the bullet and have begun to get materials ready for a garage gym. This will allow me to do the wod's without constant interuption and pita shruggers. thus far I have gotten a 300lb olympic weight set a stability ball, some gloves, a hr watch and chest strap, as well as a 20 weighted vest. I have obtained materials for building my squat rack, as well as a plyo box with 18, 20, and 24 inch sides. I've also priced out getting matts for the area. I have a heavy bag that is currently hung and needs to be adjusted. I have also obtained some barbells, as well as a 25 lb kettlebell. I have an indoor between the door pullup setup, but am also obtaining materials to build a kipping bar for the garage. I have obtained materials for constructing rings. I have 5 gallon buckets that are roughly 45-50 lb's depending on contents. these are for farmer walk exercises. I have a jump rope already as well as some sparring pads. need to get some climbing rope and a old basketball to make a wall ball. am looking for a c2 rower, a bench for bench press, and possibly some more weights.(craigslist) currently have materials for the squat rack as well.
